Matthias Huening, Woordensmederij

Woordensmederij beschrijft de mogelijkheden van de Neder-
landse taalgebruiker om woorden te smeden die eindigen op
-erij (en -arij en -derij). Huening probeert verder te achter-
halen hoe deze mogelijkheden zijn ontstaan. Er komen allerlei
verschijnselen aan het bod, zoals ontlening, herinterpretatie-
processen, klankverandering etc., waardoor het boek ook van
belang is voor onze inzichten van verandering van taal en mor-
fologie.
