LSP '99 - Perspectives for the New Millennium
Bressanone/Brixen, South Tyrol, Italy, 30 August-3 September 1999 12th
European Symposium on Language for Special Purposes organised by the
European Academy of Bolzano/Bozen in co-operation with the Free
University of Bolzano/Bozen on behalf of the AILA Scientific
Commission on Languages for Special Purposes. More than 300 linguists,
computational linguists, translators and LSP-experts coming from all
over the world will gather in South Tyrol to exchange vis-\224-vis their
reflections on the latest as well as the possible future trends in LSP
research. Along with the traditional topics covered by LSP Symposia,
LSP '99 will also offer two new sections dedicated to "LSP and Law"
and "LSP within the European Union". Every conference day will start
with a plenary session followed by parallel sections and workshops
(lasting a whole morning or afternoon) covering the following topics:
