Subject:  Who introduced the term "colligation"?


I am writing on my student dissertation. I am wondering about who was
the first to introduce the term "colligation" being a grammatical
collocation. I thought it must have been done by Firth but I could not
find any evidence for that so far. Even my lecturer could not help, so
I would be glad if anybody could give me a useful hint.

I am new to the Linguist List, and was wondering if anyone knew of any
corpus-based work being done on business/management language in
German.  I am particularly interested in the different ways women and
men are portrayed in the language of business and management.
