Subject: Phonetics/ Ejectives vs. Laryngealization

Hi,

I have got a question on phonetics, about the difference between
laryngealized/creaky/stiff voice consonants (especially the latter) an
ejective stops. Can the ejective stops be regarded as a subset of
laryngealized/creaky/stiff voice consonants? If not, why not?

Regards,

Johannes Reese

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am a sophomore student at Hacettepe University, Turkey.
My department is English Language Teaching. I am preparing a project on
Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis, I have received all the information but the year or
period when it first appeared. I am urgently in need of that information. If
you can help me I will be very pleased.

Yours sincerely,
Sevil Altikulacoglu
