Assistant Professor

SPANISH LINGUISTICS.  Tenure track, to begin August 2000.  Ph.D., ABDs
Will be considered.  Specialization open.  Native or near-native fluency
in
Spanish and English essential along with demonstrated evidence of
successful teaching.   Candidate will be fourth linguist in the
Department, and will teach Spanish language and linguistics (including
specialized
courses in BA and MA programs), and general linguistics (for the
interdepartmental linguistics program).  Successful candidate is
expected
