"Neuere Entwicklungen in der Gesprächsforschung"
5. - 7. April 2000

Gesprächsforschung 2000

Der Schritt ins neue Jahrtausend ist eine gute Gelegenheit, um zu
bilanzieren, wohin sich die Gesprächsforschung in den nächsten Jahren
entwickeln wird: thematisch, methodisch und technologisch (digitale
Aufnahmetechnik, Internet). Deshalb bietet die Freiburger
Arbeitstagung im Jahr 2000 nicht nur ein Forum für
Projektpräsentationen in Form von Vorträgen, sondern reflektiert auch
Möglichkeiten und Beschränkungen des Aufzeichnungs- Mediums anhand
einer Audio/Video-Datensitzung und stellt in einem Praxisblock neue
technische Verfahren und Geräte vor (Mini-Disk, Sendemikrophone,
digitale Bearbeitung am PC usw.).

Mit den Vorträgen sollen sich Forschungsprojekte vorstellen, die sich
noch in ihrer Anfangsphase befinden und der Fachöffentlichkeit bisher
kaum präsentiert wurden. Besonders erwünscht sind Beiträge, die über
innovative Fragestellungen und Methoden berichten. Voraussetzungen
sind die Verwendung authentischer Daten und ein gesprächsanalytisches
Vorgehen.  Wer einen Vortrag halten möchte, schickt bis zum 15.12.1999
ein Abstract (max. 300 Worte) an die untenstehende Kontaktadresse. Das
Abstract sollte Angaben über die Fragestellung, das Datenkorpus, den
methodischen Ansatz und den Stand der Untersuchung enthalten.

Mit der gemeinsamen Datensitzung in kleinen Gruppen soll die
Leistungsfähigkeit unserer Auswertungsmedien Transkript, Audio und
Video reflektiert und kontrastiert werden.

Der Praxisblock bietet Vorträge zu folgenden Themen:
- Aufnahmetechnik im Feld (Mini-Disk, Sendemikrophone, Mehr-Spur-
Aufzeichnungen)
- digitale Audio/Videobearbeitung am PC
- Transkriptionssoftware
- Nutzung des Internets für die wissenschaftliche Arbeit
- Vorstellung der Datenbank für GA-Fachliteratur PRAGMA
- Vorstellung einer Online-Zeitschrift zur Gesprächsforschung

Das Informationsangebot der Arbeitstagung 2000 wird abgerundet durch
Präsentationen von neu erschienenen Büchern und technischen Geräten
(Sendemikrophone, Mini-Disk-Rekorder, 4-Spur-Rekorder usw.).

Abstract
Das Abstract darf nicht länger als eine Din A4 Seite sein (etwa 2500 Zeichen
/ 300 Worte) und sollte Angaben über die Fragestellung, das Datenkorpus,
den methodischen Ansatz und den Stand der Untersuchung enthalten. Bitte
als ASCII-Datei (= reine Textdatei) an
martin.hartung at gespraechsforschung.de senden. Die Abstracts werden wie
letztes Jahr in einer Tagungsbroschüre und im WWW veröffentlicht.

Tagungsgebühr

Vortrag
Für jeden Vortrag stehen 25 Minuten zur Verfügung, daran schließen sich 25

sind vorhanden, andere Geräte nur auf Anforderung. Anzahl der benötigten
Handouts etwa 50.

as part of the 7th INTERNATIONAL PRAGMATICS CONFERENCE organized by the
International Pragmatics Association (IPrA), to be held in Budapest,
Hungary, 9-14 July 2000.

The PANEL SESSION on THE CONCEPTUALIZATION, CONSTRUCTION AND SITUATED USE
OF SPATIAL RELATIONS IN NATURAL LANGUAGE is an initiative to bring together
linguists, cognitive scientists, philosophers, etc.,  attending the 7th
International Pragmatics for a specifically-focused forum to discuss the
pragmatics-related aspects of  the relation between language and spatial
cognition, the conceptualization of abstract relations in terms of spatial
relations and its symbolization in natural language, and the construal of
spatial relations in language.

.The PANEL SESSIONS on SPATIAL RELATIONS IN NATURAL LANGUAGE will be held
in the PARALLEL SESSIONS slot of the IprA 2000 Conference program. The
final number of the PANEL SESSION units on SPATIAL RELATIONS will be
determined by the number of contributions accepted for presentation. The
maximum number of contributions to the panel is twelve (for a total of
three units).
Each PANEL SESSION will meet for 90 minutes, and comprises a set of four
15-minute contributions and 30 minutes of general discussion. Written
versions or extensive outlines of all panel contributions should be made
available to the other contributors prior to the conference to facilitate
discussion.

We invite you to submit your panel presentations to the PANEL ORGANIZERS
(addresses below) by NOVEMBER 1, 1999. Panel presentations will be subject
to anonymous review

Paper submissions for panel contributions should contain:
1. an e-mail version (word and/or rtf encoding) of the one-page abstract,
to be sent to both Hubert Cuyckens (Hubert.Cuyckens at arts.kuleuven.ac.be)
and László I. Komlósi (Komlosi at btk.jpte.hu);
2. 10 (ten) copies of the printed, hard-copy-version of the
ONE-PAGE-ABSTRACT together with a printed, hard-copy-version of the IPrA
