Hi,

Does anyone know if there been any studies on whether the degree of
fidelity to the native pronunciation of non-indigenous people's names
by speakers of the vernacular has any bearing on the nature of
intercultural relationships?

I would like to find out whether there are any more recent studies on A.
Bell's audience design - from 1992 through the present. I am interested in
references to both his publications and any other studies that have
explored/amended this model.

Thanks very much. I will post the summary if there are more people
interested in the subject.
