Two tenure-track assistantprofessor positions in Linguistics/English.
Beginning date: 16 August 2000.

QUALIFICATIONS: ABD in Linguistics/Applied Linguistics; Ph.D. preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPERIENCE in three or more of the following:
   classes in linguisitcs, traditional grammar,
   TESL theory and methods, history of English, and freshman composition.
   Teaching experience at college level and strong commitment to teaching.

   Serve as academic advisor to majors and assist in program development.
   The ability to teach lower-level foreign language courses would be a
   plus.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
