World-class multi-channel speech recognition and synthesis algorithms.

We have a full-time permanent vacancy for a Linguist Engineer to join
our flourishing speech technology department and work on Italian
text-to-speech synthesis. The successful candidate will possess:

Native fluency in Italian
Expertise in phonetics
Good grounding in general linguistics
Good organisational skills
Enthusiasm for speech technology

It would be advantageous (but not necessary) to have some experience
in/knowledge of:

Intonation, rhythm, or duration analysis or modelling
Computer literacy
Computer programming
