Linguistics at The University of Groningen, Netherlands, is looking
for three PhD students in any of the fields CLCG studies.
	
The Center for Language and Cognition Groningen (CLCG) is a research
institute of the Arts Faculty of the University of Groningen. CLCG
participates in the Graduate School for Behavioral and Cognitive
Neurosciences (BCN).  Within the CLCG there are three PhD vacancies.
Interested candidates for these posts are invited to send a project
proposal which fits in one of the mentioned CLCG research fields.

The task of the position is to carry out a PhD project within one of
the eight above mentioned fields, leading to a doctoral dissertation.
Candidates are invited to describe a subject which will be modificated
later in concert with a supervisor.
	
Your profile:
-- excellent record of undergraduate study
-- ability to work independently
-- graduate in a field that prepares for research in
above mentioned research fields
-- preferably, research experience in the relevant field
-- willing to learn Dutch
	
The Rijksuniversiteit Groningen offers a gross salary beginning at
Dfl 2,261.- per month in the first year and rising to Dfl 4,037.- in
the last year.  You will have a contract for one year extendible for
three further years subject to evaluation after one.  The research
project has to lead to a Ph.D. dissertation.
