Dear all,

I am currently working on the lexicalisation of metaphors, as well as
the translation of metaphors. I already have a number of references, but
I would appreciate any suggestions. I will post a summary when I get a
sufficient number of references. Thanks a lot.

Dear Linguists,

Does anyone know the present situations of a wild child Genie? She must
be about 43 years old by now. I would like to know whether she is still
alive, whether any researchers still monitor her linguistic development,
and her overall well being (language, cognition, physical conditions,
etc.).

If you have any knowldege about Genie (beyond the documentary footage
presented by Nature, PBS), please respond to me at my e-mail add.

Thank you in advance.
