LOS ANGELES ENTERTAINMENT, TECHNOLOGY COMPANY SEEKS LINGUIST FOR
FULL-TIME POSITION

We are looking for an experienced linguist who has created human
concatenative voices using one or more of the commercial or research
Text-to-Speech Engines and accompanying development tools. Work on
exciting technology projects solving unique problems in text-to-speech
and concatenative voice creation. Candidate will be responsible for
creating a custom, unlimited vocabulary TTS voice for use in major
entertainment products. Candidate will also be responsible for keeping
informed on current and future speech technology, including attending
conferences.

Opportunity to work in a pleasant, collegial environment with highly
motivated people. Opportunity to pursue research. This position could
include building and managing a department and staff.

Candidates must have a masters degree or Ph.D. in Linguistics or
equivalent experience.
