A preliminary program and some accommodation information is now
available at http://modlang-hale.concordia.ca for the First North
American Phonology Conference (NAPhC1), which will take place at
Concordia University in Montreal from April 28-30, 2000.

We would like to remind those intending to participate that Morris
Halle will be presenting a lecture hosted by the Concordia Linguistics
Student Asociation on the evening of Thursday, April 27. Time and
location T.B.A.
