Dear Subscribers!

Has anyone heard of any Corpus-based quantitative linguistic research
into German?

In particular, I would be interested in anyone who used an already
annotated corpus to extract linguistic features from it and then count
them in order to qualitatively evaluate them.

Thanks, yours, Frank Mueller!

Subject: Iberian historical dialectology

Dear colleagues,

I am an M.A. student in Spanish Linguistics at the University of
Belgrade, Serbia, and I plan to do my thesis research on Iberian
Historical Dialectology. I am wondering if anybody on Linguist knows
of any bibliographical references on Spanish - Portuguese contacts
(dialectos fronterizos) from a historical - sociolinguistic
perspective.

I appreciate all your help, because we are in dire need of expending
our bibliografical resources (the academic libraries in Serbia are not
very up to date).

Thanks in advance. I'll post the results of my search on Linguist in
case there are other people interested in the topic.

Thankfully,
