Greetings, all,

Can anyone point me to some secondary literature on the use of ``he's
like,'' ``he's all,'' and ``he goes'' as verbs of saying, telling, or
feeling?

Many thanks,

Jed

I would be very interested to know what readers of this list would
consider to be the three to five most important desiderata of a theory
of morphology. What ought such a theory to aim at as its principal
objectives? Please respond to my personal email address:
piraha at canal-1.com.br

If there are sufficient responses, I will post a summary.

Thanks,
Dan Everett

Dear all

I would be grateful if anyone could point me to some references concerning
language and race, treating their inter-relationships and influences. I am
interested in, both, general expositions and studies based on particular
contexts.

Many thanks
Betty
