Dear Linguist Listers--

I am in the process of setting up a minor in linguistics for a small
regional university. This is a minor that would be of most interest to
English, FL, communications, education, and anthropology majors. I would
appreciate any suggestions, advice on what courses to include, potential
pitfalls, models that have/have not worked. Does anyone out there have in
place a minor that seems to be working well in terms of attracting students
and helping to meet the needs of a range of different majors? What would
you consider the essential courses to include? Thanks.
