The Language Research Center of MRM / McNeil Technologies is hiring a
Punjabi linguist to develop language learning aids such as readers in both
the Arabic and Gurmukhi scripts. A reader is a language learning aid that
helps the student bridge the gap between artificial and real text. A
typical reader will contain 30-40 selections taken from current newspapers
and magazines, will be arranged by level of difficulty, and will range in
length from a paragraph to two or three pages. Each selection will include
a glossary and grammatical and cultural notes.

The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in a Punjabi or in a
related field such as linguistics, and must be fluent in that language and
in English. Salary is commensurate with skills. This is expected to be a
