We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was

I am doing research on how the Chomskyan thought influenced language
teaching. I am in Libya where you can find no helpful books at
all. All the books are outdated, and if you find some it will cost too
much. i have done a historical research about the Chomskyan theory
stating the developments and changes that occured during the course of
its continuous modification. Now i am looking for information about
the possibility of applying it in language teaching. It may not be
applied directly, but i know that there may be some implications for
language teaching. So if you can help please do.

The hopeful student
Faraj sawani

Hallo!

On behalf of a friend, I am looking for German wordlists (i.e. lists of
German word forms [not just lemmas] that could be used for spell checkers,
or the identification of key words in texts, etc.). I am aware of some
internet sites already, but I need some further material in order to cover a
still broader range of genres/topics. Does anybody have any hints on sites
where such lists can be downloaded. I'd be grateful for any useful
information and will post a summary of the responses. Thanks in
advance.
Best wishes
