Subject: Conversational Indirectness

Dear all,

I am going to write a thesis on indirectness, hesitation and ambiguity
in conversation and I am therefore grateful for any references that
would point me in the right direction. I am especially interested in
non-conventional and inferential indirectness.
I will post a summary of references if I get enough response on that.
Any hints to off/on line sources would be greatly appreciated.
In addition, I am looking for the following articles: Susan Meredith
Bert "Where does sociopragmatic ambiguity come from?", Claudia Brugman
"Mental Spaces, Constructional Meaning and Pragmatic Ambiguity" and
Nathalie Franken "Vagueness and Approximation in Relevance Theory". Does
anybody know where these articles have been published?

Thanks for any information or help,
Claudia
