Visiting Associate Professor/Lecturer

The Research Center For Higher Education, Kyushu University, is
seeking to appoint a visiting associate professor or lecturer in the
areas of TEFL/TESOL, communication, inter-cultural studies, or other
related areas. The main responsibility will be the teaching of English
 language to undergraduates. The post is for three years (non-
renewable) from 1 October 2000, or as soon as possible thereafter.
A PhD is preferable together with substantial teaching experience and
 relevant publications. However, an experienced teacher with an M.A.
degree would also be considered. The salary and benefits will be
based on the Japanese Ministry of Education scale, and will be
commensurate with age and experience. Please send (1) a letter of
application, (2) a full curriculum vitae, (3) a list of publications,
(4) copies of two publications of your choice, and (5) a
cassette-recorded self-introduction by 28 August 2000 to:
