Subject: Assistance needed in identifying an author

Dear Linguists,
I've happened to have a xerox copy of a book (originated as a
doctoral thesis written at the University of Leeds under the
supervision od Dr T. C. Potts) on tense and aspect. It's an
interdisciplinary work of interest to both logicians and
linguists. Unfortunately, the title page of the copy is missing.
However, it bears a 'suspicious-looking' hand-written note
that says the book is 'The Logic of Aspect' published by
Oxford University Press (1984). The author's name NOT mentioned.
It containes 8 chapters (about 160 pages in total). The first
three chapters are:
(1) Tense logic and its limitations
(2) States, events, and change
(3) From tense logic to event logic.
Is there anyone out there who can identify the author and the book?
(Definitely, Dr Potts can, but I failed to find him on the net.) Your
help will be greatly appreciated as I'm going to have a quote from the
book in an article.
Thanks in advance,
Ahmad R. Lotfi.
