Seeking Voice Application Dialog and Grammar Developers

Looking for an exciting challenge? Want to work in the new wireless
frontier? Have experience designing dialogs and grammars for voice
applications?

If most of the above apply to you, then ViaFone needs you! ViaFone is
one of the leading developers and hosts of premiere wireless
applications. We count MySimon, CDNow and Ticketmaster among our

personable) people as our employees. We develop apps that work on any
wireless device and are currently seeking individuals with a phonetics
background to assist in the design and development of our voice
applications.

Core Skills Desired
1. Experience designing speech recognition application dialogs
(telephone dialogs desired)
2. Background in Linguistics (particularly phonetics)
3. Knowledge of grammar and dictionary building for at least one
commercially available speech recognition system

A Big Plus
1. some background with programming and/or scripting languages
2. experience with data collection for speech recognition engine and/or
application development
3. knowledge of natural language processing or computational
linguistics
