TECHNICAL EDITORS WANTED

Have you ever come across inappropriate translations when using a
localised software in your language and reading through a user guide?
Join us at SDL and make a difference!

SDL International (http://www.sdlintl.com) is a leading supplier of
localisation services to the IT, engineering, e-business & Multimedia.
Due to continuous growth, we are looking for:

technical editors of JAPANESE, FRENCH, DUTCH, SPANISH, ITALIAN, GERMAN,
FINNISH, DANISH, NORWEGIAN AND BRAZILIAN PORTUGUESE

to join on a permanent basis our multilingual in-house localisation
teams in the UK or in our local offices.  All other languages are
needed for freelance work.

Projects include translation of software, on-line help, Web Sites,
documentation, games, as well as testing of localised products and
linguistic advising in studio recordings.  All the positions give the
individual the opportunity to work within a project team where all
members support each other according to their skills and experience.

The successful candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Excellent proficiency in the native language and excellent computer
  literacy
- High level of interest in software and computer-related technologies
- Detail-oriented and quality-focused
- Engineering or technical writing background, keen to make a difference
  in the final localised product
- Be organised, able to work in a busy environment and have excellent
  communication skills

Salary continuation scheme and pension. Competitive benefits package.
