Faculty Search

Position offered
One tenured position as either full professor, associate professor, or
instructor/ lecturer, within Kansai University's new Institute of
Language Education and Research.

Date of commencement of employment
        April 1 st, 2001

Field of professional provenance sought
EFL education for undergraduates; plus other courses

Qualifications in EFLE sought
a) a doctorate awarded by a Japanese institution of tertiary education
(a qualification particularly but not exclusively looked for);
b) a Ph.D. awarded by a non-Japanese institution of tertiary education;
c) the qualification of having satisfied the examiners' final
requirements for completion of a doctoral course, at either type of
graduate school;
d) published research, to a level equivalent to a, b, or c, above.

Personal information to be submitted
i) an updated C.V. (formatted according to the relevant outline below);
ii) a list of research publications (formatted according to the
relevant outline below);
iii) originals (or photocopies) of the applicant's three most
significant contributions to academic research in her/his chosen field.
