Assistant Professor for a one-year leave replacement, effective July 1,
2000. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Linguistics with teaching experience
preferred. The candidate will be expected to teach at the undergraduate
and graduate levels starting Sept. 1, 2000. Course load will be four
semester courses chosen primarily from the following areas: introduction
to linguistics, bilingualism, psycholinguistics, first and second
language acquisition, and syntax. The content of all courses will be set
within the framework of current generative linguistic theory. Further
duties will include graduate student supervision starting during the
summer. Salary: $43,000. Deadline for application: 31 May 2000.
