Title: Data Modeler

GoTo Shopping (shop.goto.com) seeks data modelers to design product
specification database tables for new product categories.  Using a
flexible data normalization technology, data modelers implement meta
data rules to deliver integrated, normalized db tables from
heterogeneous data sources.

Requires: experience performing programmatic data manipulation or text
processing (e.g. pattern matching via regular expressions); database or
spreadsheet design (use of formulas a plus); comfortable with basic
logic and algebra; familiarity with unix file systems and emacs or vi
editor; strong analytical skills; detail-oriented; excellent written and
verbal communication skills; BA/BS in Linguistics, Symbolic Systems,
Logic, or equivalent.
