I teach at Rutgers (New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA). This year I heard my
students using an adjective pronounced /ski:vi/, which they asserted meant
"annoying" and came from Italian, where there is a word "schivi". They
claimed the word had been around for about 10 years (which is about the
range of their historical memory).

Does anyone else have an attestation?
