The Department of English at West Virginia University plans to hire
two visiting Assistant Professors for one-year terms, August 16, 2000,
through May 15, 2001.  Ph.D. preferred; ABD considered.  Evidence of
ability to teach a variety of introductory literature courses in small
and large sections and experience in teaching English composition
