Lecturer of French for one year, starting Fall 2000.

Requirements: Documented training in Translation Theory and Literary
Translation, experience teaching university upper-level undergraduate
language classes.  ABD in French or related field with native or near
native French speaking ability.

Desired:  Published translations, experience teaching Translation
Theory and Literary Translation,PhD in French and experience on thesis
committees.

Duties: Teach advanced (300-400 level) undergraduate French language
classes, 3 courses per semester, plus translation theses.  Serve on
Master's thesis committee.

three letters of recommendation, CV, proof of teaching excellence
