CYMFONY is a leader in information extraction technology pertaining to
intelligent search engines, including web-based question answering
using natural language.  This fast-growing company, which has recently
received private equity investment, is located in suburban Buffalo, NY.

Cymfony has immediate openings for computational linguists who will
assist in the implementation and support of our grammar development tools.
These are programming positions in the research department; good programming
skills are essential.  A Master's degree in computer science, linguistics,
or related field OR equivalent work experience is required.

We are seeking individuals with a background beyond basic coursework in
any of the following areas:

1. Automata theory and toolkit implementation
2. Implementation of grammar formalisms
3. Programming languages and development tools
4. C++ programming

All candidates must be U.S. or Canadian citizens, or be currently
eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer as a green card holder
or with a current H1B visa.  Salary will be commensurate with
education and experience.
