I am wondering if there are any documented "discourse universals," and where
I could find discussion about universals of discourse. Specifically, I am
researching the frequency of inflections in spoken or written discourse.
For instance, can cases, tenses, aspects, etc. be ranked according to their
frequency in discourse? And furthermore, are there any universal patterns
of inflectional frequency?

Thank you in advance,

Hello, Does somebody know about a searchable database
of phonlogical rules observed in the World's
languages?
Thank you
