This is to thank LINGUIST subscribers for further contributions which
have increased to more than sixty the number of languages listed:

http://www.percepp.demon.co.uk/animals.htm
http://www.percepp.demon.co.uk/birds.htm

There are still gaps, particularly for bird names in Armenian, Icelandic
and Lithuanian.

For comparison, samples of the sounds made by the animals and birds (and
one insect) can be heard by clicking on 'ANIMALS' or 'BIRDS' at the head
of the lists.
