EDITORIAL ASSISTANT (Acquisition)
EDITORIAL ASSISTANT (Journal Management)



ACQUISITION

Your duties will include:

- overseeing the publication of books and journals, and their budgeting
- visiting conferences and congresses
- coordinating the department's marketing activities together with the
marketing department
- acting as a contact person for authors, technical production and the
head of department.

Your profile will include:

- a good degree in languages or linguistics with / or publishing
experience
- a sound knowledge of the linguistic market
- excellent language skills in English and German
- outstanding organizational skills
- the ability to plan cost-effectively
- commitment and the ability to work independently under pressure
- a courteous and confident manner.




JOURNAL MANAGEMENT

Your duties will include:

- overseeing the publication of books and journals, and their budgeting
- the coordination of on-line products in collaboration with the other
relevant departments
- acting as contact person for the electronic publishing department, the
head of department and authors
- visiting conferences and congresses.

Your profile will include:

- publishing experience, preferably gained with an academic publisher
- knowledge of and experience in the field of electronic publishing
- a good degree, preferably in languages or linguistics
- excellent knowledge of English
- good organizational and planning skills
- a structured and independent approach to your work
- the ability to plan cost-effectively
- a competent and courteous manner.
