Subject: MA in Linguistics with no-thesis option

We are considering introducing a no-thesis option into our M.A. in
Linguistics (which would likely involve taking extra courses).
I would appreciate hearing from departments and programs that already
have such an option, in order to impress our Graduate School with
the appropriateness of such a move. I will post a summary list
when I have had responses to this query.

Thanks,
Stan Dubinsky
