I am doing a research on LIFE IS JOURNEY metaphor in English poetry. For
example, in Robert Frost's poem "The Road Not Taken", the LIFE IS
JOURNEY metaphor is used. Could you suggest other poems using the same
metaphor?

I will compile a list and post for the future reference.=20
Thank you.

Subject: Grammaticalization of point of view

Dear all,

I am going to write a thesis on "grammaticalization of point of view", and I
am therefore grateful for any references that would point me in the right
direction. I am specially interested in changes of meaning in structures
that are formally equivalent, like "subject elevation" (She seems to come/It
seems that she comes"), "object elevation" and others old transformations,
but allso in all stuff that generally can be related to "point of view" and
grammaticalization of pragmatic aspects.
I will post a summary of references if I get enough response on that.
Any hints to off/on line sources would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for any information or help,

Fernando Bermúdez
