TITLE
ASR Tuning Engineer - New Development projects (LVASRTE)

ROLE
Excellent opportunity for an engineer with exposure to Automatic
Speech Recognition systems. Ideally you will have a PhD (or equivalent
experience) in a related area combined with some commercial experience
in speech recognition. Techncial skills are likely to include perl,
awk and some data management experience. You will work on innovative
SW development projects to produce a unique voice driven interface to
digital services.

Tuning (and some development) of the ASR components of a unique speech
recognition system. Conduct research working towards the highest
achievable levels of recognition accuracy.

SKILLS
- Ideally a PhD in a related area - or appropriate commercial
experience
- Scientific background
- Attention to detail
- Technical skills may include awk, perl and other scripting/
programming languages

TITLE
Human Factors Specialist (QA/Usability Lab) - Speech Recognition
Systems (LVHFE1)

ROLE
You will setup the usability lab for this fast growing innovative
company working on speech recognition development projects.  You will
have 1 year+ experience in a relevant area (QA, human factors) and be
excited about the prospect of setting up a small usability lab. Role
will include selection of usability subjects (people to test the
system), recording their activities. Also will involve 1st pass
analysis of results and maintaining an efficient record of results.
Need to be a People person.

SKILLS
Some experience in: Human Factors, QA or Dialog Design
- Interest in setting up a small usability lab
- 1 Yr commercial experience or a highly motivated recent graduate
