Does anyone know of a handheld electronic dictionary that
uses the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) when listing
the pronunciation?

Thanks,

Shelly Wallace

Dear linguists,

the research project "Lexical Change - Polygenesis - Cognitive
Constants: The Human Body" (T=FCbingen, Germany) deals mainly with facts
from semantic-lexical diachrony. But in the case of the Inuit language
GREENLANDIC, we even have some problems with the synchronic data. We
didn't find the satisfactory answer in the consulted dictionaries.

Though we hope that a native speaker or a specialist of Greenlandic can
tell us, with which lexem he talks about the PUPIL (OF THE EYE) and the
WHITE OF EYE.

Thank you very much,
Angela Dorn
