THE 18TH ANNUAL MEETING - ISRAEL ASSOCIATION FOR THEORETICAL LINGUISTICS

                        CALL FOR PAPERS
                           IATL 18
              June 24/25 (Monday/Tuesday), 2001
               BAR-ILAN UNIVERSITY, RAMAT GAN

IATL 18, the 18th annual meeting of the Israel Association for
Theoretical Linguistics, will be held at Bar-Ilan University, Ramat
Gan, on June 24-25, 2001. Submissions are invited for papers
presenting high quality, previously unpublished research in all areas
of theoretical linguistics, including Language Acquisition, Language
Disorders, Psycho- and Neurolinguistics. IATL publishes a working
papers-style proceedings in which all accepted and alternate papers
appear.

Please send abstracts EITHER by snail-mail
OR by e-mail:
SNAIL-MAIL: 7 copies of an anonymous
abstract (maximum length 2 pages,including references) accompanied by a card
with author's name, affiliation, e-/snail-mail, and title of paper

Anonymous abstract as attachment and subject header "abstract". Author
information listed above in body of e-mail. Acceptable formats: PC/Mac
MS Word, .rtf, or .pdf. File name of attachment must be same as title
of abstract or shortened version of it. For any unusual fonts, please
attach font file.

DEADLINE (for both snail- and e-mail): March 1,
2001. Submissions received after this date will be returned unopened.
Not more than one single-authored abstract per person, plus
one co-authored abstract.

In connection with IATL18 Bar-Ilan
University is holding a satellite workshop titled: "Language &
Brain: Issues in Language Acquisition". This workshop will take place
on Sunday, June 23. For more information, please contact Dr. Sharon
Armon-Lotem: armonls at mail.biu.ac.il
