Subject:  LSA Video Archive announcement



      Linguistic Society of America Video Archive

The LSA Video Archive is a collection of short videos about
language, created by linguists and accessible on the web to
the general public. It will open in January 2002.

All linguists are invited  to contribute a video to the Archive.
If you have footage already that could be adapted to this
purpose, please let us know. If you would like to  know more
about how to make a suitable video, come to the workshop
at the LSA Annual Meeting in San Francisco, January 5 at noon.
