The latest issue of _Linguistik online_ (9,2/01) has been
published. It deals with:

Deutsch als Fremdsprache/Teaching German as a foreign language
(Editor of this issue: Elke Hentschel; Table of content: see below)

For those who don't know the journal: _Linguistik online_ is a peer
reviewed international journal. It is free of charge and can be found on:

The issue on teaching German as a foreign language happens to be in
German only. However, the next issue on a similar issue, "Foreign
language teaching", will be linguistically mixed again. By the way,
the call for papers for this issue is still on - as well as that for
the issues on "Language and Gender", "Can Linguistics be considered as
part of cultural studies?" and "Miscellaneous" (where all the
interesting papers shall be colletcted that somehow don't seem to fit
into one of the other issues).
