Tenure-track Position Announcement
Applied/Comparative Linguistics, SLA, or strongly related area
September, 2001


Assistant Professor, Ph.D. in Applied/Comparative Linguistics, Second
Language Acquisition, or strongly related area required.  Tenure-track
position for Fall 2001. Demonstrated ability to teach Structure of American
English, ESL/EFL methodology, and a language other than English required.
Publication and solid research agenda. Proficency in use of instructional
technology preferred.

(Please note that this position is different from the "Position in Applied
Linguistics" announced earlier in November/December, 2000.  Both positions
are to be filled for Fall 2001.  If you applied earlier, and wish to apply
