This is a correction to issue 11-2342, posted on October 29,
2000. Please note the changed deadline for applications.

The Department of Linguistics at the University of Connecticut
anticipates a full-time position in the area of syntax for the
academic year 2001-2002. The position carries a teaching load of two
courses per semester, including courses in syntax at the graduate
level and in general linguistics at the undergraduate
level. Responsibilities will also include advising graduate students
on their research.

research samples, three letters of recommendation, and teaching
