Macalester College is offering a one-semester sabbatical replacement
position for the spring semester 2002 (February -- May) to teach three
courses, one of them being sociolinguistics.  The nature of courses
two and three is to be determined by the interests of the successful
applicant, in consultation with the search committee.  Bear in mind
that Mac is an undergraduate liberal arts college, and that high level
technical courses are likely to have impossibly low enrollments. A
flair for teaching is a must.
