Dept. of English Linguistics

Applications are invited for a Lectureship in Linguistics for a fixed
period of one year from 1st September 2001.  Salary will be in the
range of German BAT IIa.  Applicants should have a PhD (or near
completion) in linguistics.  Areas of specialisation: Theoretical
linguistics

The post will involve teaching of two classes for undergraduates;
previous teaching experience will be an advantage.  Applications (via
email) should reach <sekretariat at ifla.uni-stuttgart.de> as soon as
possible but not later than 1st August 2001. They should involve a
full curriculum vitae, a statement about teaching experience and
research interests, and the names and addresses of two referees.
