 ==========================================================================
The LINGUIST List strongly encourages employers to use
non-discriminatory standards in hiring policy. In particular we urge
that employers do not discriminate on the grounds of race, ethnicity,
nationality, age, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. However, we
have no means of enforcing these standards.

Job seekers should pay special attention to language in ads regarding
employment requirements and are encouraged to consult our international
employment page http://linguistlist.org/jobnet.html.

This page has been set up so that people can report on the employment
standards of various countries.

Subject: Comp Ling: English Grammar Manager at LexiQuest, France

LexiQuest, an NLP company founded in 1977 (http://www.lexiquest.com),
is currently seeking to fill the position of its English grammar
manager. The candidates should have a good knowledge of computational
linguistics and preference will be given to native English speakers.

Programming skills (preferably an experience with Java) are an
advantage.

The work consists in "house-keeping" and enriching the different
grammatical resources (morphology, syntax, terminology extraction,
named entities identification, etc ...) used by our products. We are
are planning short and longer term evolutions in the theoretical
approaches and formalisms currently used.

This position offers the interesting possibilities of combining the
knowledge of linguistic theories in confrontation with real language
in an industrial environment.

The work location is Montreuil (a suburb adjacent to the city of
Paris, France).

If interested please send any questions and/or a resume to Antoine
Ogonowski <Antoine.Ogonowski at lexiquest.fr>
