TWO TENURE-TRACK POSITIONS
APPLIED LINGUISTICS
September 2001


Assistant Professor, Ph.D in Applied Linguistics or stronly related area.
Teaching experience in ESL/Bilingual Education.  A foreign language
(preferably Spanish or French), and scholarly publication required.
Proficiency in use of instructional techonology preferred.


Assistant Professor, Ph.D in Applied/Comparative Linguistics, Second
Language Acquisition, or strongly related area required.  Demonstrated
ability to teach Structure of American English, ESL/EFL methodology, and a
language other than English required.  Publication and solid research
agenda.  Proficiency in use of instructional technology preferred.


Candidates should send letter of application, curriculum vitae, three
letters of reference, and writing samples to the Chair of the department.
Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until the position is
filled.
