Dear Colleague,
The forthcoming meeting of the Linguistics Association of Great Britain
(5-7 April 2001) at the University of Leeds will include a Linguistics at
Schools session organised by the LAGB Education Committee. The topic of
this session will be:

PHONICS AND ACCENTS OF ENGLISH

The full programme, which includes presentations by three invited speakers
and discussion, is given below.

LAGB Spring Meeting, University of Leeds: 5-7 March 2001 Linguistics at
