 ==========================================================================
The LINGUIST List strongly encourages employers to use
non-discriminatory standards in hiring policy. In particular we urge
that employers do not discriminate on the grounds of race, ethnicity,
nationality, age, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. However, we
have no means of enforcing these standards.

Job seekers should pay special attention to language in ads regarding
employment requirements and are encouraged to consult our international
employment page http://linguistlist.org/jobnet.html.

This page has been set up so that people can report on the employment
standards of various countries.

Consultant needed to help with publishing Jespersens' work on Novial
the auxiliary language and an English-Novial dictionary for children
to begin using the language. I must have copyrights so copying
information from internet is not acceptable. Publisher will get manual
work done.

I need someone with the books or access to them and the abilities to
do any finishing to Jespersens' 1930 work, critiques and variations to
it, and be able to put it in a form for children. I am starting a
science website and the language will be the one spoken on the space
stations of the near future. Additional work may develop to respond
to linguistic suggestions and comments from readers and for
translations of other languages into Novial.
