University of New Orleans, English Department, Assistant Professor,
tenure track, $36,000.  Theoretical linguistics, emphasis in discourse
analysis and language and gender.  Specialty we don't need: second
language acquisition.  Ph.D. and teaching experience required;
publications desirable.

Position involves regular teaching of undergraduate and graduate
courses in the field as well as freshman composition.  Will interview
