Given our Ph.D. in English Studies, we seek candidates prepared to
work in a department that stresses the relationships among
literatures, languages, and rhetorics, as well as both undergraduate
and graduate teaching. A tenure-track Assistant Professor position is
anticipated in Linguistics with a specialization in the structure of
English, including ESL Grammar. Requirements to be met by appointment
date: 1)terminal degree, 2) dissertation and/or publications in the
field, and 3) demonstrated commitment to publishing and
teaching. Position start date: August 16, 2002. The successful
applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States by
August 16, 2002.
